ABOUT ME

I am an oil painter and digital artist with a passion for blending technical precision with creative storytelling.

My journey began in China, where I studied oil painting and fine arts at Nanjing University of the Arts. In 2000, I moved to the United States to work in the video game industry for several years before fulfilling a lifelong dream: joining Pixar Animation Studios in 2007. Over the past two decades, I have contributed to more than 15 feature films—including box-office hits like Monsters University, The Incredibles2, Turning Red, and Elementals as well as Academy Award–winning favorites such as Up, Toy Story, Inside Out, Cars ..

Outside the studio, I remain deeply dedicated to traditional oil painting and water color painting. My artwork has been selected for exhibition in notable venues, including the Emeryville Annual Art Exhibition, the Chinese Art Gallery, the Tiburon Art Gallery, and the Pixar art gallery show.

I am constantly exploring new visual experiences, driven by the belief that art has the power to enrich our lives and elevate our souls. Through my canvas, I strive to capture ordinary yet profound moments—glimpses of love, joy, loss, and rediscovery—and translate those human emotions into timeless visual stories.
